I like this chart.  I have never seen one like this.  CPI and Core CPI usually move together, but I love how it shows last years craziness.  Remember, Core CPI leaves out food and energy.  In other words, CPI peaking in June of 2008 reflects $120 oil and June 2009 reflects $40 oil.
